Tennent Caledonian is one of the UK’s oldest brewers, with a heritage that stretches back across the centuries to the days of beer making in its very earliest forms.  As far back as the 1550s, before Tennent’s opened for business, our archive shows that brewing was taking place at our Wellpark site in Glasgow on the banks of the Molendiner Burn. It’s no surprise then that our business has a rich and fascinating history, mirroring and often pioneering the great milestones of the beer industry itself.
